In short

## What does an event audience report show?

Updated 30 October 2026

A SalamAI audience report shows how listeners joined your audience links, which languages they used and when activity peaked, with daily and hourly charts. Save the executive report as a PDF through your browser’s print dialog, or export the rows as CSV. The figures describe browser activity, not verified attendance: a unique listener is an identified browser, so one person on two devices counts twice and several people sharing one browser count once. Listener minutes estimate audience presence and differ from billed translation time, which you find under Reports → Activity & costs. Reports exclude translation stations, Remote Speakers, participant phones and console users.

### How should you read the numbers?

Treat the figures as a guide to browser activity, not a headcount. A unique listener is an identified browser, so one person using two devices counts twice, several people sharing one browser count once, and cleared storage can create another count. Listener minutes estimate how long audiences stayed on a language link, which is different from the connected translation time you are billed for. Use the reports to see which languages were needed and when interest peaked, then plan the next event’s languages and timing from that. For billing and usage, open Reports → Activity & costs instead.

Report figures explained

## Know what each figure counts.

01

### Listener joins

How often the audience connected.

Observed joins can include return visits. They are not a count of distinct people.

02

### Unique listeners

Identified browsers across the period.

A saved anonymous browser ID groups repeat activity. Different devices or cleared storage can count again. A shared browser can represent several people.

03

### Peak audience

The largest audience recorded at one time.

Presence is checked at intervals. The highest recorded audience at one time is an estimate, not a verified headcount.

04

### Listener minutes

A view of listening presence over time.

Minutes are estimated from observations. They do not prove anyone heard the audio and are separate from billed translation time.

### Audience participation has a defined scope

These audience figures exclude account and console activity, campaign stations, Remote Speakers and One-to-One participant phones. Review operational usage in Activity & costs instead.

Language and activity reports

## See language use and busy periods.

01

### Plan around language demand

Review which audience languages were used and how demand changed over the selected period. Event breakdowns help put the observations in context.

02

### Choose a unique-browser view

Unique listeners only counts each identified browser once across the selected period, including repeat language and event activity. It excludes unidentified activity and older combined records.

03

### See how participation changed

Daily and hourly views help identify busy periods. Supported details include observed days, average presence, daily changes, busiest periods and language reach.

Download your report

## Save a PDF. Export the data as CSV.

01

### Set the scope

Choose the reporting dates, timezone and event filters. Review the coverage notes before interpreting the result.

02

### Add event details

Create a SalamAI-branded report with an executive summary, key figures, breakdowns and measurement notes. Add optional event name, date, purpose and location labels.

03

### Share or explore

Use your browser’s print dialog and Save as PDF for the executive report. Export CSV for all rows returned in the currently loaded report.

### What is included in the PDF and CSV?

Detailed sections are optional. Each table on screen and in the PDF shows up to 200 rows. CSV includes all rows returned in the loaded report. Extra event details label the report; they do not change its filters.

### How far back does detailed attendance go?

Detailed audience records began on 8 October 2026. Older broadcast records may include visits, sessions, minutes and language or daily totals. They cannot show unique browsers or past simultaneous attendance, and may not name the event. Unique listeners only excludes these older totals.

### Can this verify attendance or identify individual people?

No. Reports describe browser activity. Unique-browser counts exclude activity without a browser ID, and the report shows this gap. Shared devices, private browsing, cleared storage and multiple devices affect the totals. Presence and minutes do not prove attendance or attention.

Planning the next event

## Use audience reports to plan languages.

Review language demand and participation patterns alongside your event plan. Then set up the audience links, station access and welcome experience for the next gathering.

Common questions

## Audience reporting questions

### Do unique listeners mean unique people?

No. Unique listeners are identified browsers. One person can use several devices, and several people can share one browser. Cleared storage can also cause another count. These figures are not proof of attendance.

### Are listener minutes the same as billed translation minutes?

No. Listener minutes estimate audience presence. Billed translation time measures connected output sessions. Use Reports → Activity & costs for usage and billing.

### Can I download an audience report?

Yes. Use your browser’s print dialog to save the executive report as PDF. CSV exports all rows returned in the loaded report. Detailed on-screen and PDF tables show up to 200 rows each.

### Do these reports include translation stations and presenter phones?

Audience figures exclude campaign stations, Remote Speakers, One-to-One participant phones and console users. They describe audience listening links.

### Can I see figures for each talk?

Yes. Reports can be grouped and filtered by console, session and run, and the CSV export includes all three columns. Attendance is counted per run, so someone who joins two talks counts in each.
